Meet our Directors: Apostle Joe and Pastor Versella Murray
The Murrays hale from Compton, California, where they met and were married. Together they gave their lives to Christ in 1984. They have 8 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Apostle Joe was ordained into the ministry 1989 and Pastor Versella was ordained in 1997. They were led by God to move to Texas in 1997 where they have faithfully served the Lord in a glorious array of ministries including planting Household of Faith Church. They have served in children and youth ministry, men’s and women’s ministry and are mighty prayer warriors. The Murrays have given their lives for the sake of the gospel, sacrificing many times to make sure those they are serving have all they need through a relationship with Jesus and a community of believers who love and support. This is why True Faith Community is so blessed to have them serve as our directors. They are a father and mother who lovingly lead people to greater fulfillment in life through Christ centered discipleship and care. In addition to their service with TFC, The Murrays help lead a ministry called Healing Homeless Youth and Community Resource Center.
